My photography experience started with my father’s Nikkormat when I was 15. That film photography hobby lasted for one year only before I put a pause for many decades. I resumed photography in 2009 with a Rebel XS and have been having a lot of fun in photography since then. To me, it means more than simply taking pictures.

Photography is a way that allows me connect more deeply with the world. Taking pictures increases my awareness of the unusual from the usual, my attention to the miraculous in the ordinary. I learned to appreciate that beauty is everywhere to be found, as long as you open your mind and your heart to feel and observe them. It is a process to observe, aware, experience and feel. The whole process corresponds to an open state of mind in which experiencing the scene at hand in its full richness precedes taking any shot.
