As the Boston Marathon passed through the Wellesley College stretch, the course had already erupted into waves of excitement. The cheers surged like a tide. Runners waved, smiled, high-fived, even blew kisses to the crowd. In that moment, every high-five seemed to say: “We’re here, cheering for you.”
