When photographing the Lunar New Year Gala, in addition to the traditional focus on stage performances, I find myself more drawn to capturing the unsung heroes behind the scenes. Behind every successful show, alongside the efforts on stage, the backstage management is equally crucial—for instance, the work of the stage director.The Shell gas station sign, a notable landmark in Cambridge along Storrow Drive, has been broken for quite some time. Some people jokingly suggest that it now reads as “sell,” perhaps offering an ironic message. Could this broken sign truly be a “sign” to sell?
