Walking along the trail in Natick Hunnewell Forest, the trees have shed their leaves in winter, leaving behind bare branches that trace delicate lines against the sky. By the path, a slender branch extends horizontally with quiet composure, as if engaging in a silent dialogue with the frozen lake. The ice-covered surface reflects its silhouette, mirroring its stillness. There is no wind today, and the branches remain motionless. Everything feels extraordinarily tranquil, yet filled with an undeniable strength. Growth is not always about reaching upward—extending outward is also an expression of life.

I enjoy photographing trees because they grow in silence, unaffected by the changing seasons. There is no urgency, no resistance—only steady, unwavering existence.
