That afternoon, I sat in a red chair tucked in the corner of the museum as sunlight slanted down through a tall window. It felt as though the light had consciously chosen that particular table and chair—and even me, in that very moment. There was no sound, only a quiet dialogue between the soft stream of light and the silence of shadows in the air.
Photography has taught me to pause—not merely to pass by, but to be present with what is before me.
